INTERNATIONAL MISSION TRIP
Despite the heat and humidity, our June mission trip successfully held clinic for 8 days straight in the mountainous Liugui District of Kaohsiung. This was STL’s first mission trip partnering with Taiwanese medical universities. In all, we examined 359 patients and prescribed 136 pairs of prescription glasses.

INTERNATIONAL MISSION TRIP
Praise the Lord! Our first, all local, Taiwanese team of 7 volunteers was a great success. Our partnership with the Cardinal Tien Cultural Foundation led us to serve in the mountainous Jianshi Township of Hsinchu County. Even though the trip was condensed to 6 days, we still managed to examine 220 patients and prescribed 83 pairs of prescription glasses, in addition to reading glasses and sunglasses. This is our first mission trip where we focused on catechesis through our children’s ministry programs at Shihlei and Xiuluan Elementary Schools.

INTERNATIONAL MISSION TRIP
During Holy Week, we served along the coast of Taitung and in the mountains of Chiayi. Our team of 5 saw 226 patients and prescribed 166 pairs of glasses. Happy Easter!
